Due to the extremely large geographic size of our chapter, we offer educational events in areas such as Riverside/San Bernardino, Kern (Bakersfield), Santa Barbara and Orange Counties. This committee plans educational events to meet the needs of members in these outlying areas. The committee also plans and develops new means to bring educational programs and reach out to a broad audience via Webinar, audio webcasting and/or Podcasting.

This committee shares overall responsibility for planning, developing, producing and presenting a series of educational seminars (tracks) to satify the professional education and development needs of Chapter members with an interest in Medicare cost reporting and reimbursement systems. This committee meets on a regular basis, usually monthly.

Responsible for the publication and distribution of the Chapter Newsletter (Newsbrief). The objective is to provide the membership with local, regional and National educational information that will foster and increase their knowledge of specific topics and to highlight chapter events to members. Committee members compose or solicit articles to ensure that the Chapter produces five to six high quality issues per year.
